Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to subscription payments made directly to MACOVV TECHNOLOGY LABS ("MyCasa", "we", "us", or "our") for access to the MyCasa Platform. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

By subscribing to a paid MyCasa plan, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Subscription Billing

• MyCasa is billed on a per-flat, monthly or annual basis, as selected by the Society Admin at the time of subscription.
• New societies receive a free trial period (currently the first 3 months) before any subscription fee is charged.
• Subscription fees are charged in advance for the billing cycle you select (monthly or annual).
• All fees are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellation

• The Society Admin may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the app settings or by writing to support@mycasa.club.
• Cancellation stops future billing from the next billing cycle onward. It does not automatically refund the current, already-paid cycle.
• Access to paid features continues until the end of the billing cycle already paid for, after which the account reverts to a limited/free state.

3. Refund Eligibility

We want you to be satisfied with MyCasa. Refunds of subscription payments are considered in the following cases:

• Duplicate Payment: If you were charged more than once for the same billing cycle due to a technical or payment gateway error, the duplicate charge is fully refundable.
• Failure to Provide Access: If, due to an error on our part, your society was charged but not granted access to the paid features for that billing cycle, you are entitled to a full refund for that cycle.
• Cancellation Within 7 Days: If you cancel your subscription within 7 days of a charge and have not materially used the paid features during that cycle, you may request a full refund of that charge.
• Incorrect Billing: If you were billed an incorrect amount due to a plan or pricing error, the difference is refundable.

Refunds are not provided in the following cases:

• Partial-month or partial-cycle usage after the 7-day window in Section 3 has passed.
• Change of mind after substantial use of the paid features during the billing cycle.
• Disputes between residents and the Society Admin, or between the Society Admin and its members, regarding who should bear the subscription cost.
• Suspension or termination of an account for violation of our Terms of Service.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us with your registered mobile number, society name, and payment details:

We will review and respond to refund requests within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days thereafter, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing times.

5. Society-Collected Maintenance Payments

Maintenance and other dues collected by your society from residents through the Platform are not payments to MyCasa — MyCasa only facilitates billing and tracking on behalf of the society. Refunds for such maintenance payments must be requested from your Society Admin and are outside the scope of this Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
